ACO Gravel Grid is an ecological stabilisation system that can be used to stabilise gravel and chippings in an environmentally friendly and visually appealing way. The gravel and chippings stabilisation system is designed to create a strong and stable base for the professional spreading of gravel and to prevent ruts and puddle formation.
ACO Gravel Grid is suitable for fixing areas of gravel and chippings. The honeycomb structure holds the gravel securely in place. This creates unsealed surfaces without ruts. Properly laid, a stable and water-permeable surface is created that can be walked on and driven over. A customised design is possible with fine chippings or decorative gravel. Another advantage: Thanks to the water permeability, lower precipitation charges are incurred.
The "Blue Angel" eco-label is awarded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, the Federal Environment Agency, the Environmental Label Jury and RAL. The seal was awarded in the category "Products made of recycled plastics". For the Blue Angel to be awarded, these products must consist of more than 90 percent of their weight in plastic and at least 80 percent of their weight in recycled plastic.
ACO Gravel Grid eco even exceeds this: The honeycombs in the award-winning product are even made of 100 percent recycled polypropylene. This so-called post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR) is made from waste that comes from the end consumer, and not from industrial waste like post-industrial recyclate (PIR). That is why it is particularly sustainable.
