Leading the way with the latest eco-design standards, Metalfire is expanding its Ultime D range of enclosed wood-burning fireplaces with two new designs of exceptional performance.
Over the last few years Metalfire has been working hard to improve and extend its range of high efficiency fireplaces. After the Avenue collection, which already met the predefined eco-standards for closed gas fires in 2018, the Belgian company is adding two new fireplaces to their "Ultime D" collection.
Completed with a two- and three-sided model, they anticipate the current legislation on ecological requirements, in particular ECODESIGN 2022 (in force since 1 January 2022), which is characterised among other things by stricter combustion rules. The emission values achieved exceed the minimum requirements with an efficiency of 82%.
These appliances also succeed in limiting their fine dust emissions to less than 30 mg/Nm³, which is much lower than the permitted European value of 40 mg/Nm³.
